Ko ji zjutraj skodelica čaja zgrmi po tleh, okno razbije sosedova žoga, avtobus zamuja in v trafiki nimajo pravih znamk, bi nekdo rekel, da je to res smola. Ampak to ni še nič v primerjavi s popoldanskim napadom komarjev, katastrofo milnih mehurčkov ali maščevalnim pohodom pozabljenega pladnja v njeni kantini. Od kar je dobila službo v cirkusu, ji gre menda na bolje. To je Rose.
When her cup of tea crashes to the floor in the morning, the neighbour’s ball breaks the window, the bus is late, and the kiosk doesn’t have the right stamps, some might say she’s terribly unlucky. But that’s nothing compared to the afternoon mosquito attack, the soap-bubble disaster, or the vengeful march of the forgotten tray in her canteen. Ever since she got a job at the circus, things have supposedly been looking up for her.
